Job summary

EY is seeking a seasoned Technical Delivery Manager to drive day-to-day execution of the engineering teams building EY’s Agentic AI platform. You will own delivery cadence, interrogate estimates, and ensure commitments are met across Kubernetes, GPU infra, CI/CD pipelines, and model serving.

You will work with senior engineers, own risk and dependency management, and lead phased platform builds to ship working capability on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years in technical delivery, engineering project or program management with direct accountability for delivery outcomes.
• Hands-on experience as a software or platform engineer or equivalent depth.
• Ability to evaluate estimates, work decomposition, and technical risk with evidence.
• Proven track record running Scrum or Kanban for multi‑engineer teams with phased delivery gates.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery cadence: daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement and reviews across teams.
• Track in‑flight work to completion, surface slippage, and unblock blocked items promptly.
• Define done criteria and date commitments; elevate risks early to leadership.
• Interrogate estimates, sizing, and complexity; distinguish genuine risk from padding.
• Break down work into independently deliverable stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Plan phased platform builds and defend entry/exit gates against schedule pressure.
• Manage cross‑discipline dependencies and coordinate handoffs between teams.
• Maintain live delivery risk view and drive mitigation to closure.
• Report velocity, throughput, cycle time, and burn against gates with candour.
