Job summary

EY is seeking a seasoned Technical Delivery Manager to drive day-to-day execution of engineering teams building EY’s Agentic AI platform. You will own delivery cadence, run scrum ceremonies, and ensure engineers meet commitments across Kubernetes, CI/CD, model serving, and orchestration.

Ideal candidates have hands-on engineering background, credibility with senior engineers, and a track record delivering multi‑team programs with cross‑team dependencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• 7+ years in technical delivery, engineering project or program management with direct delivery accountability.
• Hands-on experience as software/platform engineer or demonstrable technical depth.

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery cadence across multiple development programs and ceremonies.
• Track in-flight items to completion and surface slippage promptly.
• Define done criteria and maintain explicit, dated commitments.
• Interrogate estimates, challenge padding, and reduce risk with evidence.
• Break down architecture intents into independently deliverable stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Own sprint and release planning across platform builds and phased capabilities.
• Coordinate cross-discipline hand-offs between platform, infrastructure, data, security, and delivery cells.
• Maintain live risk view and drive mitigation to closure.
• Report delivery status with evidence and avoid softening the truth.
• Protect team focus by absorbing interruptions and managing stakeholder demands.
