Job summary

Allegion in United States is seeking a Senior Technical Delivery Lead to drive end-to-end delivery of complex IT solutions across order management systems. This role combines hands-on technical guidance with agile program management, serving as a servant leader for Scrum teams and coordinating across product, engineering, and operations partners.

The position supports a hybrid work model with travel up to 25% and requires 7+ years in technical delivery leadership; a CS-related bachelor’s degree

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience leading technical delivery or as Scrum Master/technical PM.
• Experience with Agile software delivery and backlog management.
• Strong communication across business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of technical solutions, from requirements through release, across one or more IT product teams.
• Champion AI-native ways of working by helping teams use AI tools responsibly in daily engineering workflows, including AI-assisted code review, automated testing, documentation support, and sprint planning.
• Partner with product owners, team leads, and business stakeholders to define, prioritize, and refine the product backlog
• Lead Scrum ceremonies and champion Agile best practices as the team’s Scrum Master
• Coordinate across IT teams and delivery partners to align scope, dependencies, delivery plans, and technical approach for cross-team initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into clear technical requirements and user stories for the development team
• Track delivery progress, risks, and issues; proactively resolve blockers and elevate when needed
• Oversee test planning and execution to ensure features meet quality and functional expectations prior to release
• Manage release activities, documentation, and approvals; coordinate production deployments outside business hours as needed
• Provide production support oversight, including triage and coordination of support tickets
• Report on delivery status, metrics, and risks to stakeholders and leadership
• Serve as a technical escalation point by helping teams evaluate complex technical or architectural issues, remove blockers, and align on practical paths forward.
• Champion continuous improvement in delivery practices, tooling, and team ways of working
• Other duties as assigned
• Up to 25% travel may be required
