Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking a motivated Technical Specialist in the Strategic Resolution Group to handle complex toxic tort, latent injury, sexual misconduct, and environmental claims with significant financial exposure.

You will manage moderat​e to large exposure claims, develop strategies, and ensure efficient resolution while upholding company protocols and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years of claim handling, legal, insurance, or environmental fields.
• Licensing may be required within three months of starting the job.
• Excellent analytical thinking, communication, judgment and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze policy coverage across legacy companies; provide coverage recommendations.
• Investigate liability and determine appropriate action; assess damages.
• Manage strategic file plans; coordinate with counsel and vendors.
• Develop knowledge of accounts; maintain relationships and reporting.
• Estimate financial exposures and budgets for claims.
• Maintain organized claim files and SRG systems.
• May assist in training and mentoring.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
