Job summary

Travelers is seeking a motivated Technical Specialist for the Strategic Resolution Group to handle complex toxic tort, latent injury, sexual misconduct, and environmental claims. You will manage moderate to large exposure claims with guidance, develop strategies for efficient resolution, and maintain knowledge of applicable law across jurisdictions to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• - Bachelor’s degree; 3+ years in claim handling, legal, insurance or environmental fields.
• - Strong analytical thinking, communication, judgment and teamwork.
• - Ability to manage accounts and maintain client relationships.
• - Licensing may be required per state and Travelers policy.

Responsibilities

• Coverage research and liability analysis for moderate to large exposure claims; assess policies across legacy companies and communicate positions.
• - Manage litigation strategies, settlements, and engagement of counsel; attend meetings, conferences, mediations, and trials.
• - Maintain organized claim files; use SRG systems; ensure data accuracy and timely reporting.
• - Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of accounts; coordinate actions and reporting.
