Job summary

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Principal Business Analyst to serve as the senior analytical and advisory lead on our largest client engagements. You will facilitate executive-level workshops to define scope and uncover the "why" behind client needs, and you will become a trusted partner to major clients.

You will also lead and mentor the business analysts assigned to your accounts, setting the analysis approach, delegating requirements work, and reviewing deliverables for quality

Qualifications

• 12+ years - Experience as a Technical Business Analyst.
• Extensive experience with software development teams and projects.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Exceptional analytic and logical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent collaborative and teamwork-oriented skills.
• Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
• Experience in Agile development methodologies.
• Experience in creating product documentation.
• Self-Driven.
• Sense of ownership of all your work.
• Domain knowledge in the area of Retail Point of Sale Systems.
• Fluent English Language Speaking, Writing.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex client engagements, ensuring clear requirements and alignment to project value.
• Build relationships and act as trusted advisor to client and project team.
• Conduct interviews, surveys, and workshops to understand needs (what and why).
• Advise on leveraging Toshiba functionality to reduce scope.
• Manage scope and lead scope conversations with client.
• Own definition and documentation of project scope.
• Translate requirements into product requirements with edge cases.
• Create and maintain requirements documentation for client and product perspectives.
• Use approved AI tools to draft and standardize requirements; review AI outputs for accuracy.
