Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of Retail Technical Operations to lead the RTO engineering team, ensuring deployment readiness, execution, and operational support across a portfolio of retail solutions.

The role combines people leadership with technical credibility, governance, and executive communication to drive outcomes and reduce deployment risk for complex customer engagements.

Qualifications

• 10+ Years of experience leading technical teams.
• Experience owning escalation management and critical situations.
• Experience managing teams that support retail point-of-sale, payment, or store systems environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of RTO Engineers spanning multiple skill levels, platforms, and locations, owning career and technical progression.
• Own readiness standards, entry criteria, and assessment checklists used across all customer engagements.
• Oversee concurrent deployments across multiple customers, platforms, and regions, assigning engineers based on skills and capacity.
• Own escalation path for complex technical issues and serve as the escalation point for customers and internal leadership.
• Define, track, and report operational metrics for the RTO function and drive continuous improvement.
