Job summary

Orbifold AI is seeking a Technical Account Manager in Palo Alto to own key research accounts, drive pilots to production contracts, and expand programs with researchers, engineers, and PMs. You will translate customer needs into data programs and shape outcomes that measurably improve AI systems.

You will collaborate with researchers to understand model requirements, manage delivery forecasts, and ensure timely, high-quality results.

Qualifications

• 5+ years owning strategic customer relationships in AI, data, or ML infrastructure.
• Engineer or researcher in robotics or CV/ML who can discuss data strategies with ML researchers.
• Experience in account management or customer-facing project leadership in tech or AI fields.
• Resourceful builder who thrives where research uncertainty meets customer deadlines and communicates complex solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own key accounts end to end as trusted advisor from pilot delivery to production, renewal and expansion.
• Convert pilots into long-term programs with operating plans, forecasts, and quarterly reviews.
• Ensure customer deliveries exceed expectations, coordinate weekly technical syncs with researchers/engineers, and align teams behind commitments.
• Translate customer needs into internal workstreams, identify risks early and communicate them.
• Build dashboards and account playbooks to monitor health and enable ramp-up within 90 days.
