Job summary

The Hanover Insurance Group, based in the United States, seeks a Senior Commercial Lines Technology Underwriter to join our growing Technology Underwriting team. This is a full-time role with flexibility to work in a hybrid or fully remote arrangement, focusing on Middle Market technology accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 5–10+ years of standard commercial lines.
• 5+ years Technology Industry experience.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Underwrites and prices technology risk including products, professional, and cyber coverages.
• Uses underwriting tools and rating methodologies to ensure guidelines are followed.
• Understands pricing components and correlates pricing to exposure and finance.
• Completes file documentation according to best practices and regulations.
• Adheres to CAT guidelines and underwriting discipline.
• Provides clear rating instructions for quotes prior to proposals.
