Job summary

The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking a Senior Commercial Lines Technology Underwriter to join our growing team. This role emphasizes underwriting expertise, portfolio management, and sales-driven customer advocacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5–10+ years in standard commercial lines with 5+ years in Technology industry.
• Strong communication and ability to consult with internal/external partners.
• Judgment and decision-making with risk-based authority.
• Ability to analyze problems, adapt quickly, and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and price technology specialty coverages such as products, professional, and cyber liability.
• Manage a portfolio to achieve gross written premium, new business, profitability and retention.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with agents and internal partners.
• Provide guidance to underwriters and act as a technical resource for the team.
