Job summary

The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking a Senior Commercial Lines Technology Underwriter in a hybrid/remote role with locations including Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas or Florida. You will underwrite Middle Market technology risks, balance profitability with growth, and provide expert insights to agents and internal teams.

Expect a leadership role in mentoring colleagues while handling a portfolio of multi-line technology risks, including cyber, with support from Sales and analytics functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Ability to underwrite and price technology-focused coverages (products, professional, cyber).
• Experience with commercial lines and technology industry accounts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, underwrite, and renew Middle Market technology-focused accounts.
• Apply technical, sales and analytical skills to provide insurance solutions.
• Mentor and support other underwriters; manage a mid-to-high complexity book.
• Collaborate with agents and internal stakeholders to optimize risk and profitability.
