Job summary

The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Lines Technology Underwriter to join our growing team. This full-time, exempt role offers hybrid or fully remote work and locations in Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; or Florida.

You will identify and underwrite Middle Market accounts, applying technical, sales and analytical skills to deliver technology-focused insurance solutions that drive profitable growth and align with Hanover’s appetite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 5–10+ years in standard commercial lines.
• 5+ years Technology Industry experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication with partners.
• Ability to exercise judgment and negotiate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Identify, solicit, underwriting and selling new and renewal Middle Market accounts.
• Apply technical, sales and analytical skills to insurance solutions.
• Underwrite and price technology specialty coverages.
• Manage portfolio to achieve gross written premium and profitability.
• Mentor and support other underwriters.
