BD is hiring a Technical Support Specialist 2 in the United States to assist in resolving complex, time-sensitive issues from server to station, including remote troubleshooting and coordinating with field service. The role focuses on ES 1.1x upgrade support and regulatory compliance while expanding knowledge of the BD Medstation ecosystem.

The position emphasizes collaboration across ES upgrade teams, maintaining high data quality in Salesforce, and delivering timely customer updates.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Electronic Technologies or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• Microsoft SQL experience (2+ years).
• Must be able to write queries and analyze SQL data (i.e. Select and Join statements) within complex database structures.
• SSIS (SQL Job) exposure/experience.
• SQL Reporting Services.
• Windows Server (2008+) and Desktop Administration (Win7+).
• Networking topology, terminology, commands.
• IIS and Web Application Administration.
• Group Policies Terminology and Administration.
• VMware Terminology and Administration.
• Application Installation and Troubleshooting.
• Ports (Networking/OS).
• Understanding of XML language (1+ years).
• Ability to review application and OS logs (2+ years).
• Flexible in working hours to meet the needs of the remediation team/schedule.
• Remote position working from home office.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in resolving complex, time-sensitive issues including escalations and downtime.
• Collaborate with ES 1.1x upgrade team for timely communication.
• Maintain knowledge of ES 1.1x to troubleshoot & support.
• Provide progress updates to customers and gather feedback.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements for ES 1.1x remediation.
• Complete required training and maintain data quality in case notes (Salesforce).
