Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Tech Support Principal Engineer to join the Global Technical Support team. You will provide high-level technical guidance, train customers, and coordinate issue investigations across multiple teams in support of AVEVA Unified Supply Chain products.

You will work with clients in oil and gas, translating complex modelling problems into practical solutions, and delivering training material and courses to maximize software value.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Oil & Gas industry knowledge.
• Strong numerical background with advanced degree in math, engineering or physical sciences.
• Ability to analyze technical requirements and provide solutions.
• Experience presenting to clients and audiences.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer queries ranging from usage questions to complex modelling issues.
• Collaborate with a broad range of customer end-users to understand workflows and provide technical guidance.
• Develop and deliver training material and courses.
• Track and prioritise status of customer queries to ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate investigation of customer issues across multiple teams.
• Work with Sales, R&D, Services and Project Management to resolve queries efficiently.
