Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Tech Support Engineer II in Houston/Scottsdale to resolve complex issues, onboard customers, and mentor peers. The role blends remote and on-site work, with a minimum of three days in the office and a 50-mile commuting radius.

You will engage with Sales, Product, and Services to ensure top-notch customer outcomes. Candidates should have 1–3 years in technical support or customer-facing roles, a relevant degree, and familiarity with SQL, APIs, and scripting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Math, Computer Science, Natural Sciences, or a related field.
• 1–3 years in a technical support or customer-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive resolution of complex technical issues for customers remotely and on-site as needed.
• Onboard and ramp up through training to build familiarity with software portfolios and environments.
• Mentor and develop junior team members through knowledge sharing and collaboration.
• Teach customers how to maximize value by delivering training classes.
• Analyze support data and trends, communicating insights to teams and customers.
• Join cross-functional meetings to provide technical advice and escalation leadership.
