AVEVA is seeking a Technical Support Senior Engineer for Pipeline Simulation in Houston. This role provides local and regional technical support, troubleshoots complex software issues, reproduces problems, and coordinates with Development for solutions.
Strong communication and customer-service skills are essential, with travel for training as needed. Applicants should have a BS in engineering and 5–10 years of pipeline simulation experience, plus familiarity with software support in Oil & Gas
Qualifications
- BS degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Process, or Petroleum Engineering or higher.
- 5-10 years of experience in pipeline simulation.
- Experience with software application support or deployment in Oil & Gas.
Responsibilities
- Provide local and regional technical support for Pipeline Simulation products.
- Troubleshoot complex software issues and reproduce customer problems.
- Document issues and defects with steps to replicate.
- Offer quick turnaround and excellent customer service.
- Train customers and junior engineers; travel for training.
