Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a senior software leader to guide development of a scalable telematics data platform and ML-powered products. Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience designing and building products in a software engineering team.
• Proven experience leading the design, development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of highly scalable, distributed software systems.
• Proven experience in building, deploying, and maintaining Machine Learning-powered products.
• Experience mentoring and supporting engineers and role modeling engineering practices within a technical lead capacity.
• Experience taking end-to-end ownership of product, feature designs, development and delivery of large scale and long running projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions with teammates to identify gaps in our telematics data platform and influence roadmap by setting direction and recommending solutions.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to make design decisions and understand downstream implications in our product to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Ship features that deliver value to customers, consistently refining them based on gathered feedback.
• Deliver full stack features across multiple tiers (front-end, back-end and mobile). GoLang, GraphQL, Typescript, React and ReactNative among other technologies. Direct experience with these technologies is not required.
• Be responsible for maintaining the production systems that your team owns and provide operational support.
• Make an impact on our core architecture, roadmap, and the wider engineering community.
• Champion, role model, and embed the company’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.
