Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Professional Services Engineer to lead technical delivery, migration, and advisory services for customers. You will install, configure, and migrate customer environments, working remotely with Product and Engineering to optimize solutions.

The role requires IaC and cloud provider experience, strong English communication, and the ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced, fully remote setup. Travel ~20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Professional experience with infrastructure as code or configuration as code technologies (Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Puppet, Chef).
• Professional experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience deploying or configuring company solutions.
• Excellent written and spoken English for remote, asynchronous work.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple customer engagements in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, self-managing, and capable of working in a fully remote organization.
• Willingness to travel ~20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Use a consultative approach to assess customer goals and identify optimal paths to success.
• Deliver statements of work with guidance from Technical Architects, including installation and configuration.
• Develop and implement migration plans for version control systems and data.
• Provide technical training remotely or on-site and create implementation and guidance artifacts.
• Create and maintain documentation, templates, and scripts for service delivery and customer workflows.
• Document opportunities, risks, and status to project and account teams.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to improve features and processes for customers.
• Assist Engagement Managers with quoting and scoping statements of work.
