Job summary

BNY is seeking an experienced Contract Negotiation & Sourcing Specialist to lead complex technology procurement, drafting and negotiating master services agreements, SOWs, and licensing contracts while managing supplier relationships across SaaS, hardware, information security, and data center services.

The role requires multimillion-dollar, multiyear deal experience, strong business judgment, and collaboration with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Procurement to balance commercial objectives with

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience in commercial contracting and sourcing.
• Extensive drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex technology agreements.
• Experience negotiating multimillion-dollar, multiyear supplier deals.
• Strong understanding of licensing, vendor contracts, and procurement practices.
• Ability to collaborate with Legal, Risk, Compliance and Procurement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clear recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, edit, and negotiate complex technology contracts.
• Negotiate pricing, licensing structures, and commercial terms with major vendors.
• Support sourcing across hardware, software, SaaS, AI platforms.
• Manage high-value, multiyear negotiations with strong governance.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to align priorities and recommendations.
• Identify contractual risks and ensure compliance with internal standards.
• Oversee end-to-end contract lifecycle from request to execution.
• Improve contracting processes through AI-enabled workflows.
