Job summary

Strategic Staffing Solutions seeks an experienced Contract Management Specialist to lead complex sourcing and contract development efforts within our procurement organization. You will draft, modify, and negotiate high-dollar contracts, ensuring risk mitigation and alignment with business objectives.

You will collaborate with Legal, risk, and suppliers, applying total cost-of-ownership models and pricing strategies while guiding Category Managers and procurement professionals to achieve

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, supply chain or related field required.
• 7 years of relevant contract management, paralegal, or supply chain experience required.
• Experience in utility, manufacturing, or construction industry preferred.
• Deep understanding of contract design, terms, language, templates, performance criteria and risk mitigations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and time management skills; strong written and verbal communication with partners, stakeholders and suppliers.
• Ability to be persuasive and build credibility with business units and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Writes the summary and details for complex/non-standard contracts, including pricing, performance criteria, service levels, warranties, terms and conditions, and risk mitigations.
• Writes modifications to existing complex/non-standard contracts, coordinating with Legal as necessary.
• Provides advisory support for contract development and negotiations to category managers and procurement professionals, as needed.
• Applies pricing models, cost containment models, pricing caps, total cost-of-ownership models, and indices during contract development.
• Supports category managers to refine sourcing strategies for complex spend.
• Works with the Service Center to ensure transactional and customer support services are aligned with category strategies.
• Collaborates with the Supply Chain COE, Service Center, and business partners on projects to address issues, improve efficiency and satisfaction.
