Job summary

BNY seeks an experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead technology and FinTech sourcing, pricing analysis, and supplier negotiations. The role collaborates with internal stakeholders and external vendors to drive contracting and onboarding, with 6–10 years of relevant experience.

Onsite four days a week across NYC, Pittsburgh, or Lake Mary. The team handles software, Market Data, hardware, and emerging tech, requiring strong negotiation, analytical, and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of Technology/FinTech sourcing, vendor management, procurement, or negotiations
• Demonstrated experience leading supplier and contract negotiations
• Strong understanding of pricing, terms, and contract structures
• Proven stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to lead meetings with internal stakeholders and vendors
• Strong analytical and presentation skills
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier negotiations focusing on pricing, terms, and service agreements
• Support sourcing across Technology and FinTech categories
• Evaluate suppliers, pricing structures, capabilities, and terms
• Partner with business and technology leaders to understand requirements and guide decisions
• Help contracting and onboarding with Legal and internal teams
• Support RFPs/RFIs, pricing, and total-cost modeling
• Develop data-driven recommendations and executive-level presentations
