Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking a Senior Sourcing Specialist to lead assessment of opportunities, internal supply chains, and supply markets; develop, execute, and institutionalize the sourcing strategy. The role requires a proven track record in sourcing and negotiating complex, high-value categories, with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Strategy Development: Collaborate with key customers and cross-functional teams to develop sourcing strategies for complex, high-value materials, equipment, or services, including regional and enterprise-wide initiatives.
• Strategy Execution: Develop RFQs and RFPs, analyze supplier responses, and work with cross-functional teams to determine best solutions for awarding contracts and agreements.
• Negotiation: Engage with suppliers and manufacturers' leadership; drive cost avoidance and savings through negotiations and process efficiencies.
• Change Management: Participate in change management strategies with cross-functional teams for successful implementation of sourcing strategies.
• Relationship Management: Manage supplier relationships at a strategic level and interface with internal partners, customers, and suppliers.
• Supplier Management: Oversee post-award supplier activities, settlements, claims, disputes, and maintenance of POs and agreements.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Stay updated on commodities, supply sources, diversity opportunities, and market conditions affecting procurement.
• Mentorship: Provide assistance and cross-training to sourcing personnel.
• Support Regulated and Renewables Energy (RRE) unit project managers with strategic sourcing initiatives for equipment bid events and PO contracts.
