Job summary

EY seeks a Senior Consultant to join its engagement teams and deliver consulting services for life insurance, group benefits, and retirement sectors. You will gain exposure to technology transformation, modern systems, and complex business challenges across the insurance value chain.

Responsibilities include leading platform delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams, and translating business needs into actionable roadmaps while aligning to enterprise standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree and 6 years of relevant working experience.
• 3+ years’ experience across any of the following lines of insurance: Life, annuity, and Group benefits.
• Experience in supporting with delivery on policy administration platforms: FAST, FINEOS AdminSuite, ALIP, OIPA, DXC wmA/CyberLife, EXL LifePro, or comparable PAS.
• Working knowledge of the Life & Annuity value chain, including product configuration, new business/underwriting, policy administration, servicing, and claims.
• Program, project, or workstream management in an on-shore/off-shore delivery model, with clients and vendors.
• Hands-on familiarity with platform configuration and integration, including APIs, middleware, and data migration.
• Excellent business, communication and presentation skills.
• Strong writing, presentation, conceptual, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of platform solutions, ensuring alignment with objectives and standards.
• Manage delivery planning, execution, scope, dependencies, risks, issues, and milestones.
• Coordinate platform configuration, integration, and implementation activities across teams.
• Translate business requirements into delivery plans and roadmaps.
• Ensure solutions align with architecture, security, regulatory, and operational goals.
• Monitor program health and drive risk mitigation and issue resolution.
• Coordinate onshore and offshore teams to deliver quality outcomes.
• Support governance forums with status updates and insights.
• Promote Agile/SAFe delivery, testing, release management, DevOps, and readiness.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement.
