Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our engagement teams and deliver consulting services across life insurance value chains. You will lead platform delivery, coordinate cross-functional activities, and drive value through modernization and digital tools.

You’ll work with clients on policy administration, underwriting, and claims, while mentoring teammates and promoting best practices in Agile delivery. EY offers growth and a collaborative culture across the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6 years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years in Life, annuity and Group benefits.
• Delivery on policy administration platforms (FAST, FINEOS, ALIP, OIPA, DXC wmA/CyberLife, EXL LifePro or similar).
• Knowledge of Life & Annuity value chain: product config, underwriting, policy administration, servicing, claims.
• Program/project management in onshore/offshore models with vendors.
• Hands-on with platform configuration and integration including APIs, middleware, data migration.
• Excellent business, communication and presentation skills.
• Strong writing, presentation, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable speaking to executives.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience with Scrum, Kanban, SAFe.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of platform solutions aligned with objectives and standards.
• Manage delivery planning, scope, risks, and milestones across teams.
• Coordinate platform configuration, integration, and implementation across business, tech and vendors.
• Translate business requirements into delivery plans and roadmaps.
• Ensure solutions align with architecture, security, regulatory and ops goals.
• Monitor health and delivery performance; drive risk mitigation and issue resolution.
• Coordinate onshore and offshore teams to deliver quality outcomes.
• Support governance forums with status updates and insights.
• Promote Agile/SAFe delivery, testing, release, DevOps, and readiness.
• Mentor juniors and foster continuous improvement.
