Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Senior Tech Business Developer with deep technology experience to translate customer needs into scalable, enterprise-ready solutions. You will interact with C-level executives and internal product/engineering teams to drive growth and adoption of Just Walk Out technology across national and global customers.

You will lead end-to-end business technology deals, shape long-term commitments with finance and legal teams, and communicate progress to senior leadership,

Qualifications

• 6+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements
• 6+ years of professional or military experience
• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of responding to requests for proposals
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Responsibilities

• Define and execute on a strategic market development plan and ensure it's in line with the business strategic direction, in partnership with key internal stakeholders (e.g. sales teams, product teams, marketing, partner team, legal, support, etc.).
• Identify and engage key partners including retailers, ISVs and system integrators.
• Build business development pipeline by engaging with key prospects and partners at the executive level.
• Understand the technical requirements of our customers and work closely with the internal development teams to guide the direction of our product offerings.
• Understand the use of salesforce.com and other internal Amazon systems.
• Present business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks to expanding our reach in the retail industry.
• Manage complex contract and financial negotiations and liaison with the legal and finance groups
• Handle a high volume of engagements and interactions in the fast pace of emerging and nascent technologies.
