Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in tax coordination or comparable role.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned workflow areas with a high degree of independence.
• Identify process gaps and improvement opportunities; bring solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation for workflows you own.
• Serve as primary contact for client intake and coordination.
• Handle complex client situations with greater autonomy.
• Monitor engagement timelines and manage competing priorities.
• Coordinate billing, document follow-up, and client reminders.
• Mentor Tax Practice Coordinators on workflows and client communication.
• Assist in onboarding new coordinators and interns; translate knowledge into repeatable practice.
• Provide backup coverage for the Tax Practice Supervisor.
• Lead or co-lead department strategic initiatives and track progress.
