Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking a Tax Senior Manager to join the Private Client Services (PCS) practice. This role oversees multiple client engagements, leads tax planning and compliance for ultra-high net worth individuals, and drives business development in a flexible, possibly remote setting.

Ideal candidates will exhibit strong leadership, experience in hedge fund K-1 treatment, and a track record in coaching staff, recruiting, and delivering proactive tax insights to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent field is required.
• 10+ years of progressive tax experience providing tax compliance and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals.
• 8+ years of tax compliance, specialization in complex technical individual and business returns.
• Recent Public Accounting experience.
• CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent Certification required.
• Experience using GoSystems or CCH Axcesstax software.
• Experience acquiring new clients and growing a book of business.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team, foster strong client relationships, and collaborate closely with Partners in an entrepreneurial environment.
• Oversee tax planning and compliance for ultra-high net worth individuals and families.
• Possess knowledge of hedge fund K-1 treatment, trusts, estates, gifts, and charitable entities.
• Perform primary review of complex tax returns with accuracy and proper documentation.
• Serve as a primary client contact, delivering proactive tax planning insights.
• Monitor engagement budgets, realization, and team utilization; address margin risks.
• Cultivate relationships with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback; support recruiting and performance evaluation.
• Leverage tax technology and data tools to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Participate in business development, proposals, and expanding client relationships.
• Stay current on tax law changes and ensure consistent service delivery.
