EisnerAmper is seeking a Tax Senior Manager to join the Private Client Services practice in New York. The role oversees multiple client engagements, leading a team and driving business development in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment with optional remote work.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership capabilities, extensive tax experience for ultra-high net worth clients, and a proven ability to mentor staff while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent is required.
• 10+ years of progressive tax experience providing tax compliance and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals.
• 8+ years of tax compliance, specific to complex individual and business returns.
• Recent public accounting experience; CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team, manage client relationships, and partner with leadership to ensure high-quality service and delivery.
• Oversee tax planning and compliance for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families.
• Apply knowledge of hedge fund K-1 treatment; ensure consistency with tax law and firm standards across engagements.
• Perform primary review of complex tax returns with attention to documentation and accuracy.
• Provide proactive tax planning insights to clients and support client meetings and presentations.
• Monitor engagement budgets, realization, and team utilization; identify margin risks and inefficiencies.
• Cultivate relationships with clients and internal/external stakeholders; promote accountability across teams.
• Provide coaching, training, and recruitment support; contribute to team development.
• Leverage tax technology and data tools to improve efficiency and scalability of service delivery.
• Participate in business development; identify opportunities and help proposals and client expansion.
• Stay current on tax law changes and collaborate across the firm for high-quality service delivery.
