The position emphasizes leadership, proactive planning, and collaboration across teams to deliver high-quality results while supporting staff development and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 10+ years of progressive tax experience providing tax compliance and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals
• 8+ years of tax compliance, specialization in complex technical individual and business returns
• Recent Public Accounting experience
• CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team, manage client relationships, and coordinate with Partners in a dynamic environment.
• Oversee tax planning and compliance for ultra-high net worth individuals and families.
• Lead review of complex tax returns with attention to documentation and accuracy.
• Provide proactive tax planning insights and support client meetings and presentations.
• Monitor engagement budgets, realization, and team utilization; identify margin risks and inefficiencies.
• Foster client relationships and promote accountability across the engagement team.
• Coach and train staff; support recruiting, onboarding, and performance evaluation.
• Leverage tax technology and data tools to enhance service delivery and scalability.
• Participate in business development and expand client relationships.
• Stay current on tax law changes and ensure high-quality service.
