Houston Community College is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to support recruitment and advertising for senior faculty and staff, including Deans, Directors, and Chief Officers. You will coordinate with the Talent Acquisition Manager, guide new specialists, and help manage the online application system and job postings.

You will partner with hiring managers to source, screen, and select top candidates, using the Applicant Tracking System, social media, and external sites.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is required.
• 3 years experience in recruitment, selection and onboarding is required.
• Higher education experience is preferred.
• Valid Texas Driver License is required for some duties.

Responsabilidades

• Manage relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and internal customers to ensure a smooth experience.
• Improve time-to-fill metrics and candidate touchpoints across the process.
• Review requisitions and advise on staffing alternatives.
• Provide training and troubleshoot the ATS; support testing and documentation.
• Represent HCC at career fairs and events and post jobs to external sites.
• Maintain and update electronic and physical files of posted positions and run recruitment reports.
• Source candidates using ATS, social media, and other tools; verify minimum requirements.
