Job summary

Vaco LLC seeks a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to own full-cycle recruiting from sourcing to onboarding. Based in Birmingham, AL, this onsite, full-time role partners with hiring leaders to build effective strategies, pipelines, and a better candidate experience.

The position requires 5+ years of corporate recruiting, proficiency with ATS platforms and LinkedIn Recruiter, and strong communication and organization skills. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of corporate recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
• Proficient with ATS platforms and LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing through onboarding.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies.
• Attract high-quality candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, referrals, job boards, and direct outreach.
• Conduct screenings, interviews, and candidate evaluations.
• Coordinate interviews and facilitate the offer process.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Track recruiting metrics and provide market insights to hiring leaders.
• Ensure recruiting activities comply with employment laws and company hiring policies.
• Support employer branding initiatives and help enhance the candidate experience.
