Job summary

CNA Corporation is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the People Operations department. You will partner with HR leadership and hiring managers to deliver recruiting services and drive workforce planning, while also supporting performance management and succession planning.

In this role you will source both active and passive candidates, manage an ATS, report on recruiting metrics, and coordinate events and onboarding. Hybrid work is available with 2–3 days in the office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources or related field required; PHR certification a plus.
• Minimum 8 years of professional recruiting experience; government contracting experience preferred.
• Experience using a variety of online recruitment tools and proficient in applicant tracking systems.
• Strong communication skills, ability to work with all levels, and multitasking in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to generate reports and metrics to track recruiting goals.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint; SharePoint preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to translate business needs into recruitment strategies and plans.
• Proactively source qualified candidates via networks, job boards, events, and social media.
• Conduct outreach to target groups; build active candidate networks.
• Evaluate, screen, and schedule interviews; communicate feedback and support final hiring decisions.
• Collaborate on university relations and recruitment marketing initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system and reports on program effectiveness.
• Coordinate recruiting events and onboarding with HR colleagues.
• Build partnerships with HR Sourcer and Recruitment Marketing to ensure timely actions.
• Handle special projects and other duties as assigned.
