Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety seeks a Senior Recruiter to research, develop and implement effective staffing strategies across assigned markets. You will support recruiters with escalations, sourcing, and best practices, reporting to the Director of Recruiting.

This role requires strong communication, market knowledge, and the ability to manage a bench of 25+ requisitions while delivering high-quality candidate slates and partnering with internal teams to meet hiring goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in sourcing or recruiting.
• Ability to liaise effectively with internal and external partners.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Exemplary professional demeanor and presence.
• Ability to handle candidate data with accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with data protection regulations.

Responsibilities

• Stay updated on industry and market information or trends affecting recruiting.
• Demonstrate innovation with sourcing techniques.
• Source candidates via social resume databases and networking sites using Boolean search language.
• Conduct professional and thoughtful phone screens with candidates.
• Keep Hiring Managers updated on market changes affecting the hiring process.
• Deliver a strong candidate slate for each opening.
• Be a point of contact for region recruiters for questions.
• Manage a bench of at least 25 requisitions.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure successful acquisitions.
• Participate in recruiter/HM meetings and share updates and data.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
