Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking a Recruiter to research, develop, and implement staffing strategies across assigned markets. You will build a robust candidate pool, conduct screens, and inform Hiring Managers of market changes to keep the process moving smoothly.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in sourcing or recruiting, strong communication, and the ability to manage 25+ requisitions while staying compliant and professional in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sourcing and/or recruiting experience.
• Ability to liaise with internal and external partners effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, and time management.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and confidentiality with candidate data.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Stay updated on industry and market trends affecting recruitment.
• Use sourcing techniques and networks to build a candidate pool.
• Source candidates via social resume databases and networking sites with Boolean search.
• Conduct professional phone screens with candidates.
• Keep Hiring Managers informed of market changes impacting the process.
• Develop subject matter expertise in regional and local recruiting needs.
• Partner with internal teams to implement hiring strategies.
• Manage a bench of at least 25 requisitions.
• Attend recruiter/HR meetings and share updates and data.
