Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking an Area Sales Leader to oversee regional sales departments nationwide. You will hire, train, and lead sales staff, set quotas, and drive initiatives to grow new business and expand existing accounts in fire protection and life safety services.

The role requires a strong B2B sales background, exceptional communication, and the ability to develop strategies with executive leadership. A company vehicle may be provided for roles requiring travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or comparable sales leadership experience required.
• At least five years of sales experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Hires and trains regional and local sales teams.
• Organizes and oversees schedules, territories, and performance of regional/local teams.
• Conducts performance evaluations and provides leadership to sales teams.
• Motivates teams to meet quotas and targets.
• Reviews sales and operations data to project sales, profitability and markets.
• Develops opportunities across Fire Alarm, Security, and Maintenance services.
• Establishes relationships with key decision-makers and end users.
• Acts as trusted advisor on life safety compliance and fire protection solutions.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, Business Administration, or related field OR comparable record of sales leadership experience
