Job summary

M9 Solutions is seeking an ETS Senior Systems Engineer to work onsite in Manassas, VA for a government contract. An active Public Trust clearance is required.

You will review operational events, propose refinements, and collaborate with Enterprise Operations and Cybersecurity teams to improve uptime and performance. Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of enterprise infrastructure experience and strong VMware, Kubernetes, Windows Server, and Linux skills.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required and an active Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant IT field (+5 years).
• 5–10 years of enterprise infrastructure or virtualization engineering experience.
• Strong VMware administration experience (vSphere, vCenter).
• Experience with VMware Aria Operations Suite and VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
• Kubernetes, Server Hosting, Virtual Networking, or Security SME on 2+ domains.

Responsibilities

• Review operational events and propose refinements to improve uptime and performance.
• Interact with client stakeholders for troubleshooting and solution development.
• Identify and report on vulnerability/risk state of virtual/server hosting.
• Support quality control checks and operational metrics for uptime and operations.
