Job summary

Revolutional in Washington, DC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to manage, optimize, and secure enterprise infrastructure for federal environments. Hands-on expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization will be essential.

You will automate deployments with PowerShell and scripting, design PKI, support cloud integration with AWS/Azure, and ensure compliance with STIG/RMF/NIST in a secure, onsite setting.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• 10+ years of server administration experience.
• Proficiency with PowerShell for complex administration and automation.
• Extensive virtualization experience (ESXi/Hyper-V/KVM) including Horizon.
• Experience with VDI deployments and enterprise monitoring (SolarWinds).
• Active Directory in production environments management.

Responsibilities

• Own Windows Server/AD services across production enclaves with high availability.
• Design and manage enterprise virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi).
• Automate deployment and maintenance using PowerShell and IaC principles.
• Architect PKI solutions and manage certificate/TLS lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across networking, identity, and applications.
• Document runbooks, SOPs, and participate in change windows and on-call rotation.
• Contribute to cloud strategy and integration with AWS and/or Azure.
• Ensure compliance with STIG/RMF/NIST in federal/classified environments.
