Bcore in Herndon, VA is seeking an SME Systems Engineer to advance mission-critical IT solutions in a high-security environment. This role requires deep VMware expertise and hands-on experience with vCenter, ESXi clusters, NSX, SRM, and vSAN, plus cloud migration skills.

You will design, implement, and optimize complex distributed systems across data centers to ensure robust failover and performance for government-grade workloads.

Qualifications

• This position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 16 years of IT experience.
• Strong hands-on ability to install and configure VMware vCenter.
• Experience implementing NSX, SRM, or vSAN in DR or failover environments.
• Experience with AWS and cloud migration.
• Proven ability to design complex distributed systems and infrastructure architecture.
