Job summary

MANTECH in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our on-site team. You will provide Tier III IT systems support across VMware, Windows Server, Active Directory, and related enterprise technologies, ensuring high availability and security for DoD programs.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience (or equivalent), IAT Level III certification within 6 months, DoD 8570 certification, and TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher with years of systems engineering experience.
Experience with DoD environments and 8570 requirements is implied.
Strong knowledge of Windows server and enterprise IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier III IT Systems support across enterprise technologies.
Diagnose and resolve complex performance, security, and technical challenges.
Perform requirements analysis and system integration for production releases.
Author SOPs and participate in ITIL Change Management processes.
Mentor junior Systems Engineers and coordinate with stakeholders.
Support system maintenance and outages after hours as needed.
Travel up to 10% within the DC Metro area as required.
