Job summary

M9 Solutions is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support a government contract on-site in Manassas, VA. An active Public Trust clearance and US citizenship are required.

Responsibilities include providing technical guidance on data protection, daily management of Commvault environments, and supporting recovery across Exchange, Windows and Unix file systems, Oracle and SQL databases. Occasional travel to data centers may be needed.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and active Public Trust clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with related experience; certifications preferred.
• Extensive experience with Commvault data protection solutions and target environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance analyzing data protection policies and success rates.
• Manage production Commvault systems and related data targets daily.
• Support recovery efforts across Exchange, Windows, Unix, Oracle and SQL databases.
• Plan and evaluate hardware/software to improve protection and recovery.
• Create and update standard operating procedures and technical docs.
• Possess flexibility to cover 24/7 shifts and travel to data centers as needed.
