Job summary

VTG seeks an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to support complex government systems across lifecycle phases. You will drive requirements development, DoDAF architecture, and SOA integration while collaborating with Government customers and multiple engineering teams.

Responsibilities include deriving lower‑level requirements, maintaining ICDs/CONOPS, and coordinating cross‑functional efforts through IPTs, reviews, and testing activities. TS/SCI with poly is required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in systems engineering across lifecycle.
• Proficient with DoDAF architectures and SOA concepts.
• Strong skills in requirements decomposition and traceability.
• Ability to develop and maintain engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage system requirements and derived requirements across architectures.
• Develop system designs and evaluate alternative concepts.
• Coordinate cross‑functional engineering activities.
• Lead verification, validation, and test planning.
• Prepare ICDs, CONOPS, and SE plans.
• Ensure architectural compliance and interface control.
• Support DoD certification, risk assessment, and IPTs.
