Job summary

Galapagos Federal Systems, LLC seeks an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to support USSF OTTI and Space Systems Command. You will help develop, integrate, test, and sustain advanced space test and training capabilities, coordinating with government and industry partners.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of DoD systems engineering, strong leadership, and a TS clearance. On-site with travel up to 25% is required in a fast-paced, high-security environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related field (required).
• MS/ME in Systems Engineering or related field preferred.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• 10+ years DoD experience in systems engineering or related programs.
• Experience with space test and training materiel systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and concept exploration to evaluate system solutions.
• Perform DRM engineering and supporting system analysis.
• Develop and refine CONOPS to support mission requirements.
• Develop and manage system requirements, ICDs, verification plans, and validation activities.
• Perform change management and technical analysis of interfaces and requirements.
• Align PPBE activities with technical efforts for OTTI.
• Support systems engineering across RDT&E, integration, fielding, and sustainment.
• Collaborate with government, engineering, acquisition, and program stakeholders.
