Job summary

Galapagos Federal Systems, LLC seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to support US Space Force missions, OTTI IPO, and System Delta 81. You will contribute to development, integration, and sustainment of advanced test and training capabilities ensuring readiness and effectiveness in a fast‑paced DoD environment.

The role requires SE expertise, strong communication, and the ability to work on-site with occasional travel up to 25% across programs and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
• 10+ years of DoD experience in systems engineering, RDT&E, or related programs
• Experience with SPOs/PMOs and system delivery to SPOs/PMOs
• Experience with RDT&E and test and training materiel systems
• Experience with space test and training materiel systems
• Knowledge of SE principles and DoDAF/JCIDS processes
• Space system disciplines including EO/IR, RF, GNC, and space communications

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and concept exploration for system solutions
• Perform DRM engineering and system analysis
• Develop CONOPS to support mission requirements
• Manage system requirements, ICDs, verification plans, and validation activities
• Perform change management and technical assessments
• Integrate PPBE activities with technical efforts
• Support RDT&E through integration, fielding, and sustainment
• Collaborate with government and contractors to deliver capabilities
