Job summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to support US Space Force operations, OTTI IPO, and Space Systems Command’s System Delta 81. You will contribute to developing, integrating, and sustaining advanced test and training capabilities critical to readiness.

Role requires TS/SCI clearance with 10+ years DoD experience in systems engineering, RDT&E, and space technologies, with on-site work and travel up to 25% in a fast-paced DoD environment.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• 10+ years in DoD-related systems engineering, RDT&E, or acquisition.
• Experience delivering space test and training materiel systems.
• On-site work with up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and concept exploration for system solutions.
• Perform DRM engineering and system analysis.
• Develop CONOPS to support mission requirements.
• Manage system requirements, ICDs, and verification plans.
• Support PPBE-aligned technical planning.
• Contribute to RDT&E, integration, fielding and sustainment.
• Collaborate with government, engineering, and program stakeholders.
