Raytheon in McKinney, Texas, is seeking an onsite Senior Systems Engineer to join our Test Solutions directorate. You will design and validate automation analysis software for multiple production programs, working with hardware, software, and program engineers.

The role requires a bachelor’s in STEM and at least five years of experience with Perl, UNIX/Linux, RF data, and SQL, plus the ability to obtain a U.S. Interim Secret clearance before start date.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM).
• At least five years of experience in Perl, UNIX/Linux, RF data, and SQL.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Interim Secret security clearance before start date.

Responsibilities

• Work with hardware, software, and program engineers to design and develop automated analysis software for multiple program products
• Implement system software engineering best practices in planning, development, and execution of scope, schedule, and budget
• Effectively communicate technical information in formal design review settings
• Provide hands-on support to product testing within an engineering and production test environment
• Report program status weekly
• Support the Section Manager and Team Lead in the execution of the RF Technologies department goals
