Job summary

Raytheon in McKinney, TX, is seeking an onsite Senior Range RF Test Systems Engineer to join the Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) directorate. The role focuses on designing, integrating, and validating antenna range hardware/software for RTX products, including lab and production test environments.

You will work with hardware, software, and program engineers to develop test software, implement engineering best practices, and mentor colleagues while supporting RF test development and production

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related discipline and 3–5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience developing and deploying test software in C#, CVI, C, C++, and MATLAB.
• Experience automating RF test equipment control and RF measurements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test software solutions for production testing with hardware, software, and program engineers.
• Apply system software engineering best practices for planning, development, and execution within scope, schedule and budget.
• Lead design activity planning and execution with engineering discipline and leadership.
• Communicate technical information in formal design reviews.
• Provide hands-on support to product testing in an engineering test environment.
• Share knowledge and mentor other engineers on the team.
• Support RF Technologies department goals in coordination with the Section Manager.
