Job summary

Raytheon in McKinney, TX is seeking a Senior RF Test Systems Engineer onsite to support STaRS Test Automation. The role emphasizes hardware and software test system development, integration, and validation, with 100% onsite work.

Qualified candidates have a STEM degree and at least five years in automation test equipment, with experience in cross-functional teams and RF tech across radar/communications. Security clearance is required on day one.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
Minimum five (5) years of experience with emphasis in Automation Test Equipment/Unit Under Test (ATE/UUT) Test Systems Engineering.
Engineering experience for both hardware and test software development, integration, verification, validation, and maintenance activities within production/manufacturing/product qualification environments.
Experience working and communicating effectively within a cross functional team (test personnel - electrical, software, mechanical, etc.)

Responsibilities

Proficient in the troubleshooting of test equipment, circuit boards, cables, etc.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive toward goals.
Analyze data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding to optimize performance and increase efficiency of work
Facilitate project tasks with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives
Work well in a team environment
