Job summary

Raytheon seeks a Production Test Engineer to join our factory team in McKinney, TX. The role focuses on RF test methods, troubleshooting, and data-driven problem solving to ensure prime hardware meets data package requirements.

The position requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of experience, familiarity with test equipment, and a current DoD Secret security clearance. Onsite work with strong continuous-improvement emphasis.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
• Minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years experience related to RF test methods, troubleshooting, RF microwave product testing, engineering and/or manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Provide test engineering support of the manufacturing areas.
• Observe, analyze, and report test data using engineering drawings and manuals.
• Perform a wide variety of technical efforts including process, test, troubleshoot, and repair RF and related equipment.
• Dispositioning non-conforming material using root cause and corrective action analysis.
• Drive Continuous Improvement to reduce cycle time, ergonomic risk, and costs using Six Sigma principles.
