Job summary

Raytheon in McKinney, TX is seeking a Senior RF Electrical Engineer to support a development program within the Airborne RF Electronics Design Department. You will join a team developing testsets for production onsite under an IPT Lead in McKinney, Texas.

You will work in a compact range environment and lab, troubleshooting testsets and supporting drawings and requirements while mentoring junior members. US citizenship and Secret clearance eligibility required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with electronics and coding.
• Experience with measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers).
• Experience with compact antenna ranges and measurements.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Secret security clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Assess production testing design coverage from test equipment to final verification.
• Stand up testsets to support production runs in McKinney area.
• Troubleshoot testsets down to component level (analog/digital/radio/microwave).
• Resolve issues on production testsets in NTX environment.
• Work in compact range and lab environments.
• Use cPDM and PRISM SAP for drawings and requirements.
• Interpret, generate, update, release and apply engineering drawings and schematics.
• Train and mentor junior team members.
