Job summary

RTX in McKinney, Texas, seeks an onsite Senior Systems Engineer to join the Test Solutions directorate. You will design, develop, integrate and validate automation analysis software for multiple production programs, collaborating with hardware, software and program engineers.

Requirements include a STEM bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience with UNIX/Linux, Perl, RF data, SQL, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Interim Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
• Minimum five (5) years experience with Perl programming, UNIX / Linux operating environment, RF domain knowledge, SQL commands
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Interim Secret security clearance prior to the start date.

Responsibilities

• Work with hardware, software, and program engineers to design and develop automated analysis software for multiple program products.
• Implement system software engineering best practices in planning, development, and execution of scope, schedule, and budget.
• Effectively communicate technical information in formal design review settings.
• Provide hands‑on support to product testing within an engineering and production test environment.
• Report program status weekly.
• Support the Section Manager and Team Lead in the execution of the RF Technologies department goals.
